The audio was carefully crafted to enhance the high energy, fast-paced nature of the skateboarding footage. The soundtrack features a dynamic mix of punchy drum loops, distorted guitar riffs, and driving baselines, evoking the raw intensity of classic skate videos. Ambient sounds like rolling skateboard wheels, grinding rails, and crowd cheers were layered into the mix to create immersion. Transitions between tricks are punctuated by sync points with risers, reverb-heavy crashes, build ups, and dynamic rhythms, giving weight to every movement.
Hànbǎobāo – A Track Born from Language and Catchy Obsession
Sometimes, inspiration strikes in the most unexpected ways. Hànbǎobāo started as nothing more than a word stuck in my head—thanks to my wife learning Chinese. The rhythmic nature of the word (meaning "hamburger" in Mandarin) refused to leave my brain, so I did what any producer would do: I turned it into a track.
Built around the naturally percussive flow of hànbǎobāo, the track blends playful energy, punchy beats, and dynamic textures, transforming a simple language-learning moment into an infectious sound. Each section features synced elements of sound design that align with the visuals in the video, creating a fully immersive experience.
